Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Foundry.ai em dez. de 2023
Entrevista
I applied for a part-time internship for Actifai, which is a branch of Foundry.ai. The process started with an application (+ a cover letter), after which, I was invited to a Round 1 interview with the Head of Marketing. That interview included two live challenges, as follows: (1) ingesting details on a product and market given by the interviewer, then verbally pitching the product/ value proposition back in response, and, (2) briefly evaluating three companies' websites, selecting one as your target, then drafting a 2-4 sentence pitch for that company based on the product from challenge one. We ran out of time on that call, so I didn't get the full set of instructions. Regardless, I made it to the second interview with the EVM, which was mostly conversational. I completed everything asked of me, and was advised I'd hear back after the holidays. I did not. I reached out directly to ask if I was still a candidate, and my message was read and subsequently ignored.

We did an initial phone screen. Then we did 2 remote interviews. Last was a final day of interviews on-site for a full day with 5 - 6 people and a mix of problem-solving and behavioral interviews.

I applied online through their website. Then they set an interview for me with the CEO. It went well and he seemed friendly. Around 3 weeks later, they set the first round of the technical interview with me. The interviewer was not rude, and not friendly either. It was a fair coding question with Data science subject, and a short non coding data science question. I did the code and went well, I was not 100% sure about my answer to the next question tho. It was Friday afternoon, and 3 hours later (6 pm Friday night) I got the rejection email!!! To me it feels like they had already made their decision. Plus, I had read the reviews about their lack of diversity in 2020, and then after I checked their LinkedIn, I realized that ZERO female is working in their R&D (Or they don't have LinkedIn which doesn't seem correct to me). I found it a HUGE red flag.
