Warning: I thought I had submitted an application to Blue Cross Blue Shield IL for the Data Entry Clerk Position. Turned out to be Franco-Indian Pharmaceuticals. But I had already begun the interview process by the time I found this out. The interview was conducted entirely over Yahoo Messenger. The grammar of the interviewer was questionable; capitalizing random words in the middle of a sentence, improper use of punctuation, etc. Stated that the office near me would not be ready until March 15 and until then I would be expected to work from home and supply my own fax machine, copier, printer etc....As a young woman with little clerical experience I was offered $30 right off the bat, which set off huge red alarms. Who offers up that kind of money for a supposedly entry-level position? I was offered the job that same day, but I had not been to any kind of office, spoken with anyone in person or even spoken with anyone over the phone. They claimed to be affiliated with Blue Cross Blue Shield Illinois, but I could not find anything to substantiate this claim.
