I had a very poor phone interview. The recruiter was extremely rushed and clearly disinterested in the call. I was asked very basic questions such as "why this role, name a conflict in your workplace, why would you be a good fit, etc" In my past experience in successful interviews, these phone interviews have always been conversational, but it was rushed and my responses were ignored. After I spoke the next question would be immediately asked, with no comments or anything on my prior response. I could also hear their computer pinging the whole time. The job posting for CRC IIs state the pay is $31-47 and hour and I was told they only post that range due to WA law, but in actuality the highest pay they can do is $35 and that is "pushing it". When I mentioned my preferred pay, which was not that much higher, I was told "ok you're not getting that, so do you just want to end the call right now so we don't waste our time?" Seriously, the worst recruiter experience I have ever had!
