I did the phone interview and that went for 30 minutes. Emily, the girl I talked to was very informative and enthusiastic. At the same time, asked me plenty of substantial questions about my future plans and how I think I would fit into the job.

I found the job posting online and e-mailed my resume. Was responded to via email and set up a phone interview. At the end of the phone interview I was asked to come in the next day to meet with the team. The interview was me with four senior level employees who came and went from the room, informally but professionally. Lots of questions about my previous experience and opportunities for me to show my portfolio. This was followed by a writing test (where I was given info and asked to write a pitch and then identify key media outlets and contacts to distribute to, as well as create sample social media posts relating to the event for several platforms). The next day I was called and offered the job over the phone, negotiated my salary/benefits via a series of short phone calls, and accepted the offer three days after the in person interview. In my experience this company knows IMMEDIATELY whether or not they will hire you.
