Quite thorough process with serious elements such as a case interview. However, a bit ad hoc, wierd signals from the recruiter such as questions like “are you really sure you want to apply for this?”, and also including meetings where founders called in late, being obviously unprepared (felt disrespectful) to then conclude that “we need to reschedule”.
When I asked about the negative reviews at Glassdoor, and also referred to references I had taken via LinkedIn, there was instantly a viscous
reaction, accusations of me going behind their back and a lot of accusations of “mentally ill” people that has been previously employed. That they had even taken to court (??) for stealing IP. The founders seemed almost paranoiac and very easily offended, to me, and i am very happy that it turned out the way it did, and that all cards became open in the end.

Entrevista
As the third step in the interviewing process, I was asked to prepare a case and present it through a virtual meeting. I was meeting with two guys from the Supply Chain department and the CO-Founder Filipe Leal, who showed up late for the interview and logged himself in while I was already presenting. Without introducing himself, Filipe started interrupting me the moment he logged in. He said he had different ideas as to how the case should be handled and criticized my approach. He then went on to say that he thinks we should re-schedule the interview and just hung up. His two co-workers sat there quietly, not saying a word or interrupting his rude behaviour. It has been two weeks and they have not reached out to me, not made an attempt to re-schedule the interview or apologised for the behaviour. All in all, Filipe's tone, choice of words and entire demeanour were unnecessarily rude, disrespectful and just unpleasant. I'm not the least surprised to see the other dreadful reviews about the working culture he and his co-founders have created. 0/10 recommend applying there.

Not a very organised way of hiring people.
First I got an unexpected phone call to ask some questions. No time was scheduled and no explanation (e.g. purpose of the call) was given upfront. It was very unclear to me that this was an interview. However, the experience was good, I talked to a nice employee at Fresh.Land.
After this round, I had a scheduled interview with top management. This experience was very bad. They only scheduled 15 min and were asking a lot of questions very rapidly. There was no time for questions from my side and no good discussions. If you would like to have a good interview and ask a lot of questions, please schedule more time. It also makes the candidate feel more appreciated.
After asking one critical question about previous negative reviews on glassdoor, no clear answer was given. This could have been their chance to show that the reviews were misplaced, but I got the feeling maybe they were not.
