STAY AWAY — one of the worst job negotiations I've ever been a part of. I received an email immediately after applying from the CEO asking me to answer some questions, which I did. Then I did not hear anything for several weeks despite following up. After forgetting about this for weeks, I suddenly got invited to a phone interview, again with the CEO. This interview was easy, and honestly I felt like they were anxious to bring somebody on. After one more interview, this time on Zoom, I got offered the job a few days later. Since the offer was below my current salary, I responded asking if they would match my current salary. Not only did they say no, but they threatened to rescind the offer because I attempted to negotiate the salary — a manipulative an anti-employee practice. Glad I turned it down. I shudder to think what kind of work environment this place has.

Doesn't seem like a great place to work. : / I submitted an application through the portal I found on LinkedIn. Later I got an an email asking me to answer some additional question. A few weeks later I was invited to invterview. The cadence of the application process was a bit irregular to me. It took a long time for them to get back to me after the first round of questions. Then the whole process after that seemed unusual. There was a weird interview round where I was recorded during a Zoom call with one of the founders. This made me super uncomfortable, and there was no discussion about this or warning that I was going to be recorded. I didn't get an offer, but feel a little bit like it was for the best. Culture, while masquerading as equitable and what not, seems to be unhealthy and work-life balance seems bad based on what I experienced. Do not recommend.
