Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Frontier Nursing University em set. de 2024
Entrevista
Received an email stating that Director of Institutional Assessment would like to go over aspects of position and get to know me but that it was not an official interview. However, once I got on the Zoom call she starts asking me questions related to my experience, which definitely seems like an interview, but I had come prepared and answered to the best of my ability. She starts talking about all the times I would need to be on campus and I’m confused because position was listed as remote on Indeed. At first I think there’s a mistake as I live in a different state, but then I realize she expects me to fly in, and based on what’s she’s describing, about 4-5 times per year for multiples days, if not a week or two at a time. Which is fine theoretically, I understand that many people travel for their jobs but the job listing did not explain this at all and frankly, the pay did not justify traveling out of state for what would add up to well over a month every year. I try to clear up the confusion about the job listing but she keeps insisting that the job is “fully remote” except all the times you’re required to be on campus, which of course isn’t fully remote. After answering and asking a few more questions, she states that she will get with her team and set up a time that works for us all for the “real interview”. It’s been months now and I have never heard anything back. Not even an automatic rejection email. Just completely ghosted. Very poor communication in both the interview process and the job description. Just be upfront about the in-person requirements in the job post and stop wasting candidates’ time.
