Rushed
Unprofessional
Hung up on
Job ad didn’t specify tech experience as a priority (quite the opposite too) but rather emphasized agency professional experience if you're looking for tech say that
Didn’t review my resume -- where it's clear that app experience wasn't declared.
Next time make clear you're looking for a technical project manager and be honest in advertising -- to save time. Also try not to hang up on an applicant mid-sentence. It's rude.

Applied online and was invited to do a Google Meet screen with HR. Was given an overview of the company, job, and interview process. This company has a long interview process including 5 rounds, but I was glad to get that info up front. Had a friendly chat about my background and a couple of questions relevant to the position. Heard back a week later they were moving forward with other candidates because my background was just not the right fit. Seems like a good place if you have the right background.
Video call began with overview of company and benefits. The person seemed rushed and unengaged....like she was being paid per interview. Answered a few questions, then got one about mobile app platform and programming tools. The role was for a PM type, and director level. A PM does not need to be a turn the screws/twist the wires SME on development languages....developers do.
I guess I gave a less than satisfactory answer because the interview was abruptly and rudely ended.
Tip: Make sure gatekeeper interviewers know what the actual role entails. Maybe hire someone who has people skills....the way the call ended could've been handled in a way that gracefully disengaged instead of basically the equivalent of walking out of the room.
