Candidatei-me online. O processo levou mais de 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela Fulton County Schools (Atlanta, GA) em fev. de 2014
Entrevista
You must complete an online teacher training course at a cost of 40 dollars ( you are not reimbursed), and submit it online with your application. There was no interview, if you meet their requirements, they will email you an orientation date. The orientation is many hours long. You will sit in a gym and listen to the do's and don'ts of working with children, then complete tax paperwork, then get fingerprinted for a background check, and take your ID badge photo. You must do some internet setup at home for your online account ( passwords and school preferences and such)You can usually start work within a couple days.

Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Fulton County Schools (Atlanta, GA) em nov. de 2024
Entrevista
I applied online and they sent me an email for a background check to be hired without any interview about 4 months later. I was surprised at how easy, but it might have helped that I used to work for them and am a certified teacher.

Are you certified? Is it still valid? Are you on TRS income right now?
Candidatei-me pessoalmente. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Fulton County Schools (Alpharetta, GA).

Initial interview five years ago was by Assistant Principal at nearby school. Then I spent a day in training. The training regarding classroom management was not that helpful
I think this process has been changed and hopefully improved.
Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 3 dias. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Fulton County Schools (Atlanta, GA).
Entrevista
There was no interview process because I went directly to the school in which I was applying for and they endorsed me to speed up the process. If you are in search of a job right away, I suggest you go directly to the school and set up a meeting with the Asst. Principal or Principal if you can. If not, stay on top of your paperwork by calling the county.
