Had a decent conversation with the HR representative and he said he would contact me within the next week. A week and a half goes by and I email him to let him know I am still interested. He never called or took the time to email to say anything. Disrespectful in my opinion.

Applied online then I was approached by the department manager to schedule a telephone interview. When the day arrived the so called manager didn't call and left the task to a member of the team whose English isn't their mother tongue so the conversation didn't flow as it ought to be with no apologies for the reasons behind the other individual's absence. A week passed and didn't hear anything so I reached out to the initial email I had and still no reply. After two weeks passed I managed to find an email for hr based in their USA branch who was kind in replying straight away but I didn't like the feedback I received. Current KYC Analysts were able to secure their roles with no prior experience. Where I had undertaken a number of courses on the subject and gained experience in this field and yet wasn't successful at a telephone stage - this doesn't sit well with me. I believe candidates are chosen based on some bizarre criteria. It tantamount to it being unethical. Please respect candidate's intellect this is a straight forward role that requires the least amount of brain cells. Also, acknowledge candidate outcome straight away and use your own email address and not some strange website email (This is directed to the interviewer).
