A train wreck. I did not get past the screening interview with these guys. So many red flags. I almost declined the interview because they wanted you to do a video screening call which is very odd, but I expected them to be prepared if they were going to have me show up for a video interview. I don't think they had read my resume or even understood the job description. Ask me for skill sets that weren't on the job description. They were clearly looking for someone with at least two to three times as much experience but only asked for 5 years experience. And they said masters was optional but clearly it was not optional. Interviewer was not engaging. It was awkward. I personally think it's pretty rude to show up not prepared. So I try to just talk about my experience and why I thought it applied to the job. And she interrupted me and cut me short and told me she didn't take notes while I was talking and proceeded to want to go over most of it again. Which still could have been fine if there was any order to it. I finally had to cut the interview short. It just didn't make any sense. I told them I didn't think based off of their job description and salary range that they were going to get what they were looking for. At the end of the interview she said, you do know this is a fully remote job right? I didn't say it out loud but I thought of course I do because I came prepared for this interview. Never again. Having read other interview and employee feedback on Glassdoor, it's pretty clear there's a culture issue at this company. Toxic
