Very quick process. I met the recruiters at a career fair at lunch, in the afternoon I was called to come back to a networking event that same night and told I was going to be interviewed the next morning. I felt valued by GE because they got back to me so fast with an offer after the interview. The entire process took less than one week. The networking events available were very beneficial and informative. I would highly recommend attending one before interviewing if given the opportunity. I continued to go to these events even after I was hired. They provide a way to meet other interns and GE employees in a professional yet friendly setting.

Very friendly interviewer and nice conversation. Basic behavioral interview, as well as a few questions about resume specifics. Have your STAR responses prepared, and be ready to expound upon any part of your resume. Very quick turnaround with the offer.

Entrevista
Face to face interview at a table. Typical behavioral questions, nothing surprising. GE emailed me two days later with an offer. They gave me about a month to respond. Then, they emailed me employee forms. A urine test was required and given about two months before employment. A very positive and straightforward experience.

Contacted for phone interview and took place the same week. Call lasted about 15 minutes. Simple questions like why GE?, strengths, and weaknesses. I received an offer the next day with GE Power and Water under the Edison program for leadership.
