The interview process for the TFA Program at GE Vernova consisted of multiple stages. It started with an initial phone screening with a recruiter, where they asked about my background, experience, and motivation for applying to the program.
Next, I had a technical interview focused on my engineering knowledge, problem-solving skills, and relevant experience. I was asked questions related to power systems, troubleshooting, and field operations.
After that, there was a behavioral interview based on the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) method, where I was asked about teamwork, leadership, and handling challenging situations. The interviewers also assessed my ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to field conditions.
Overall, the process was structured, professional, and moderately challenging, but it provided a great opportunity to showcase both technical and soft skills.
