I interviewed with a recruiter, who was a professional friend of the company founder. It was awkward because he wanted to know about my childhood and a thorough background from there up to now, which is many years removed from college. He continued to ask me questions, but never really was interested in the details of my accomplishments or actual work. At the end, he said that I was a great fit and that they would let me know either way. This recruiter nor the founder responded to my three emails or two voice mails. This was all very weird and awkward. It was semi-offensive how he asked me personal questions (married, kids, etc.) Perhaps the founder is great and is the company. It sounded like a great opportunity.
