There were two rounds, primarily behavioral, with a few technical questions based on my resume. Overall, the process was straightforward and relatively easy to navigate and respond to smoothly overall.
The GSK internship process began with an online application and the "World of GSK" digital assessment. This situational judgment test required ranking responses to various workplace scenarios to evaluate alignment with company values. It also included short reasoning exercises to measure problem-solving and analytical skills.
After passing the digital stage, the next step was a screening call with HR. This 15-to-20-minute conversation focused on verifying eligibility, confirming internship availability, and discussing basic interest in the role. The recruiter assessed communication skills and background experience before moving the application to the technical team.
The final stage consisted of a Zoom interview with a hiring engineer. This session lasted approximately 45 to 60 minutes and focused on technical competencies and past engineering projects. The interviewer used the STAR method to evaluate specific behaviors and technical problem-solving abilities relevant to the position.
