Recruiter scheduled three interviews: first two via Zoom with HR, but the HR representative did not show for either call, giving an unorganized impression.
Third interview occurred as an in-person meeting, initially scheduled with the owner but ultimately with the marketing lead.
During the interview, I provided constructive comments about website improvements. Feedback seemed to be taken personally by the interviewer.
Interviewer came across as very rigid and controlling, likely to prefer work done their way, with little openness to collaboration or creative input.
Overall, the interaction suggested potential challenges in team dynamics, decision, making, and advancing brand strategy.
Takeaway: Role and leadership style appear misaligned with my working style and professional goals; likely not an opportunity for meaningful impact or growth.

Good interview and they are very straightforward. There's nothing surprising about it and they upfront about what you might do and how roles evolve at the company. There's really not much to say, it's a pretty standard job interview for the fine jewelry industry. If you have ever done on of those companies, you will know. If it is your first time, do the market research first. Sign up for some fine jewelry and jewelry industry email lists and read JCK or In-Store Magazine. You will suddenly understand everything and be ready go for the interview.
