Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Gainsight (Hyderābād).
Entrevista
I have applied for the position through referral and had a great match with the job requirement. I was called for an interview after a month post my application. I had to follow up with the friend who referred me for the position. My friend told that the recruiter “missed” my application in the process so couldn’t set up an interview.
First round was a blind interview, meaning, I joined a video call where the interviewer could see me but I can't see the ones on the panel. After that round, I was called for a face 2 face to their Hyderabad office where I was interviewed by a couple of folks who could be my peers if I got through across two rounds back to back. I was told that they will get back to me with an update. The interview went on well which gave me some hope.
This happened over a month back and I haven't heard from them yet. I have even dropped a follow-up note but it went into a black hole. I am assuming that I didn’t make it to next round. That’s fine but at least the recruiters should have the basic curtesy to inform me that I didn’t make it to next rounds. The HRs at Gainsight are not so ‘Human’ after all. This also shows the weakness in local Product & HR leadership.
I am upset with the interview experience. I felt bad because I got "I don't care anymore because I didn't find you useful for the position" response from the interview team. I wish the folks at Gainsight had more courage or cared more to tell the candidates that they didn’t get selected for next steps in the process. At least it would end things logically.
I wouldn’t apply the next time for sure as I don’t want to work for a company that is insensitive and careless/arrogant.

I was asked a question on Growth hacking whereas I applied for a Product Manager position. This wasn't difficult but was unexpected.
I had a short call with recruiter, and first interview with hiring manager. I had very bad experience in arranging the interview with recruiter, the interview was also very poor, and finally received no feedback and just a template rejection email. Very poor process and no respect. You should expect same quality from such companies if you're accepted, so not recommended at all.

I had two rounds of discussion.
1st - The director is a smart, distinguished person. Listens to every detail and captures important points.
2nd- senior product manager - he seemed a little confused to me on the JD and the question asked. He contradicted himself and after getting answers he gave random explanations [seemed like he came with a presumption of saying No], besides I believe beginners or people with less knowledge shouldn't be allowed to interview (even if they are an MBA holders).

The interview with client in the US and the Indian product director went good. In the third round, There was a technical engineer who said he has no say in the interview process but to just share his feedback in the form of question n answers.
This technical engineer mentioned the names of Satya Nadella , Sundar Pichai and said "they are product managers and you need to listen to their speeches, you need to have a vijion (that's how he pronounced vision)"
That's when I felt , if I can be them I will have a company of my own and would not be applying to this one. Felt so demotivated by his superficial questions through out my interview time with him.
I'm glad that he did not let me through . Else I would have had to work under his exceptional expectations.
