The other halves consist either of a set of question regarding analytical skills or market skills. Was asked to identify target customer as well as fashion trends. My recruiters also spent most of the time taking notes, making it very difficult to maintain eye contact or gauge the receptiveness of length of responses. I really don't feel like the interview is an accurate assessment of success on the job. Because they hire about 50% internally and 50% externally, applicants must demonstrate a KEEN interest in retail and must be very knowledgeable about the fashion industry.

Made it through 2 rounds of interviews. First is more personal and 2nd is a project on creating a brand for GAP. Was told I had made it to final rounds, only to receive an email more than a month later that my application would actually not be moving forward. Rather unorganized and lengthy process.
