After applying for this position online, I received an email to schedule a short phone interview (approximately 20 minutes) followed by a long technical phone interview (approximately 2 hours) a week or two later. While the interview responses were quick, it took around a month after the final interview to receive my rejection.

Questions asked on concepts such as the Consumer/Producer problem, linked list traversals, and miscellaneous questions like the size of a byte.
Phone screen was a common tell me about yourself and why Garmin. They didn't ask any follow ups on your answered and seemed to just run through the list of the questions they had.

I had 1hr behavioral Interview and 1hr technical interview. Behavioral interview was about how I got to know the company, why should the company hire me, and what kind of research experience I had.

Process took about a month. Recruiter was slow getting back to me but interview process was alright. The interviewers were friendly and mainly focused on problem solving and how you think through your code.
