There was an online interview and then a take home assignment. The take home assignment was a programming assignment that took about 8h to complete. The man managing the hiring process was excellent with his feedback and made sure that the process was profitable to the potential hire even if they did not extend an offer in the end. The programming assignment was focused much more on fundamentals and structure than the efficacy of the result. The Interview focused more on personality and work ethic to see if it matched Garner's Corporate Culture.

The people who contacted me were very helpful and wanted you to succeed. They ask you to finish an assignment which tests your knowledge about software design. Depending on how you finished that assignment, you would get called for an interview (~3hrs) in which you would discuss how you did your assignment, one technical and some whiteboard stuff.
