Pretty straightforward process that included an initial HR screen followed by Leadership screen with the hiring manager, a case study interview, and then the onsite which included cultural, system design and an executive interview. Executive interview was scheduled a couple days after the onsite. During the last interview I felt the interviewer had already made up his mind about me even before I said a word. They decided not to move forward due to lack of EM experience even though I had more YOE than what was stated in the job description. Part of me felt they were dragging me along to offer me a senior/staff IC role as I’ve heard they’ve done bait-n-switches before to prior candidates. Similar to the last comment, I also felt a wheezy feeling about their progressive feedback culture as I was interviewing. It was nice enough for the recruiter to call me after telling me I wasn’t advancing via email, I appreciated that.
