The phone screen I participated in was the worst I've ever experienced. It lasted 30 minutes, most of the time spent discussing how great a leader the interviewer was to work for. I felt it was a complete waste of my time. Only about five minutes were dedicated to discussing my background and skill set, and I had no time left to ask any questions. I would never interview with Gates again.

Worst interview process I have ever gone through. The person interviewing me asked very little about me and was more about selling herself and how great a leader she is to work for. During the 30-minute phone screen, I was given approximately 5 minutes to discuss my background and skill set. I feel like it was a waste of my time. The other part of the problem was the compensation and lack of flexibility if hired. I would never apply for another role at Gates. I would advise others to run, especially since I was interviewing for a talent role.
