HR phone call was mainly asking about skills/experience listed on resume and describing the role, and then the panels were mainly technical knowledge questions with some situational/behavioral Examples: -How you would approach designing an experiment -Explaining techniques you've listed on your resume in detail (both theory and in practice) -Knowing concepts/theory behind whatever skills they've listed on the job listing is a plus Someone who knows their stuff would do well in the interview, I was not that person, sadly. But the interviewers were very nice even though I was clearly inexperienced/out of my element
