- Worst Learning workshop - Manureless, arrogant, proudly, insulting - Will train children to be egoistic and snobs. Had interview with Genius Development Workshop, and it was by far the worst interview experience I have ever had. The staff were extremely rude and insulting, and it was clear that they only valued candidates who graduated from Ivy League universities and/or not Asian. The interviewer (the so called founder aka "Kenneth Ma") asked me where I was from as soon as I entered the room (didn't even bother to say hello) and immediately rolled his eyes when I told him. Because I wasn't Chinese or from western countries? RACIST. Discrimination and Racism during an interview process is also a breach , didn't MIT TEACH YOU? He then proceeded to ask me WHY I didn't attend an Ivy League university and insulted my high school grades and degree, despite it being a honors and specialization. It was clear that they did not value my skills and experience and only cared about the name of the university I attended. Oh he literally said : - "The university you went is not good. I dont even consider it as a university. Anyone can pay and get into your university" . What a big LOL as if his IVY Leagues doesn't accept 'DONATIONS'; ! In fact, anyone can get into ANY UNIVERSITY if they pay lol ! -.- His parents probably paid tons of amount on this education from expensive workshops like this to schools. This is also a form of "PAYING" to get into a university Mr. KENNETH MA ! - "Your degree doesn't sounds SEXY". I don't know, is honors in data analytics not 'SEXY' enough ? I guess he doesn't know what's actually going around in the modern world lately. - "YOU ARE NOT SMART !" cause wasn't from MIT. Seriously? So university name is more important than skills? Clearly indicates who is NOT SMART here. ------ This interview was conducted solely to understand the details of my past experiences . They had 0 interest in hiring but rather were an insider to know how the skills , certificates, scholarships and sponsorships were gained. This might 'help' his BS business. ----- The company's mission statement claims that "geniuses are created, not born," but in reality, they seem to be creating "stubborn and arrogant children". The workshop is more focused on paying for scores than actual learning and experience. ------- IRONY: They claim to offer "real-life project-based learning," but in reality, they only hire Ivy League candidates without any real-life experience. It is ironic that the founder claims to value skills over memorization, yet the company discriminates against candidates who have more skill sets and real-life experience. ------- TO PARENTS: - Goodluck ! There are better educational centers who teach both manners & high class education. Which will actually help your children. TO INVESTORS : - Better get some sense on whom you are investing. _____________________________ TO CONCLUDE: - RUDE, MANNERLESS, DISCRIMINATION , RACIST . - Reconsider the approach and focus on valuing candidates based on their skills and experience, rather than the name of their university or HIGH SCHOOL? Discrimination and rudeness during an interview process is unacceptable, and it is something that this company needs to address. or just close down the company
