It was a tedious and almost offensive experience. I have a strong background in vendor management, but not in finance, which I was very open about from the beginning. All of the 8 people I spoke with expressed concern for my ability to learn the business. It was demoralizing. But still they kept calling me to talk to more and more people. Then after speaking with 8 individuals throughout a 2 month process I got A 3 sentence generic rejection email.
