I was reached out to by email. I was asked salary expectations and what I liked about engineering. From there I did a technical phone interview with maybe 25 minutes of technical questions and maybe 10 minutes of general interview type questions such as "what do you know about the company?". While on the phone we arranged for a time for me to come in for an in person interview. I thought that I had completed the technical portion of the interview process but I was surprised when I got to the second interview because I spent over two hours solving engineering problems on a white board. It was mostly volumetric flow rate related questions but I was asked some dynamics questions and gear related questions as well. I was told at the end of the interview that if the interviewer decided to continue on the hiring process with me then there would be one more interview. He said it would have been a panel interview with three people. This panel interview was supposed to be more of a normal interview, that is to say that it would not be a technical interview. I did not make it to this third interview. They hired someone else.
