Entrevista
Two recruiter phone calls ahead of speaking with the hiring manager, and then two phone calls with hiring manager. 6 person panel via Zoom. On campus interview day encompassed the hiring manager with a tour, Head of School, lunch with the entire Advancement team (12 people), an HR rep meeting, another six person panel, meeting with two people from an adjacent department, and finally, a meeting with their DEI rep.
They are big on consensus decision-making which gives a "too many cooks in the kitchen" vibe. For all the people and conversations involved, I still did not have a concrete idea of what they were looking for in filling the role.
As is common in interviewing these days, no concrete timeline for follow-up and unresponsive to emails inquiring about candidate status. Recruiter eventually connected two weeks later with the "going in a different direction" reply.
