Long and drawn out. Was all day and included multiple groups of people. Wait was weeks. Salary was low. Hours were long and included nights and weekends. Colleagues were great and supportive.

I applied for the job around the time it was posted in August, and did not hear back from someone until mid-late September. The initial phone call was a general screening and the hiring manager wanted a brief summary of my resume and how it related to the position. Also, she let me know that they'd already contacted my references are were interested in interviewing me. I did not get a date for interviews for another week, however. The interview lasted approximately an hour with three interviewers from the department. It was very straightforward, and there was a set list of questions in addition to clarification and followup questions to my answers. The interview was relaxed and conversational, which put me as an interviewer at ease. Following the interview, I followed up with the hiring manager after a week and half of no word. I was informed that there were scheduling changes and I would be told soon. Approximately two weeks after the interview I was offered the job.
