During the technical interview, I was informed that HR would contact me regarding next steps. After one week without any communication, I sent a follow-up email and received no response. After two weeks, I sent another follow-up email, but again received no reply. No further communication was received from the company.
Candidates may wish to consider this experience in the context of upcoming Canadian hiring transparency and fair recruitment requirements expected to take effect in 2026, including obligations related to clear and timely communication during the hiring process.
As someone else described, the HR interview was very fair, but however, although I have been told that they will tell me regarding the next step, I was ghosted. The same pattern happened before, and this issue should be taken to a higher ground. Please read a few posts below, exactly the same thing happened to me.
