Although their email domains indicate that HR representatives are Gilead employees, HR appears to be contracted--at least for recruitment. Applied online and was selected for phone screen with HR within 2 weeks of submission. Phone screen went well and HR representative advised that I was a great fit for the group and she'd refer application to hiring manager for interview; someone should contact me within 1-2 business days to schedule interview with manager. Never heard from them via email or by phone. In fact, HR representative would not respond to follow attempts either. If this had been a single incident, it might be excusable however, it had happened previously with a totally different HR representative for a different position within the 6 weeks prior to this one. That representative initiated contact then stood me up several times for the screening, either waiting until the scheduled time (or later) to cancel or by failing to respond altogether. After 3 weeks, she claimed the position had been filled. When I checked the site to apply for this position, I found that the original position was still available. It was such a poor reflection on the company that doubt I'd never apply again.
