I originally applied in January 2022 and was soon contacted by a recruiter to do an initial technical exercise (which was fairly easy to do).
A second, different recruiter then scheduled a short interview to tell me more about the job and and give me an opportunity to ask my own questions. I was told that they would be in touch within 3 days to schedule a full day of interviews.
2 weeks go by without a peep. I email the 1st recruiter and immediately get a blank email with just the signature...I assumed they might be on vacation perhaps. I email the 2nd recruiter and get an email back saying that my email was rejected by "organizational policy". Um...ok.
2 more weeks go by and I assume that I am ghosted, but just to kick the hornet's nest a little, I re-apply. The next day I get a rejection email followed 10 minutes later by a random call to my cell phone by yet another recruiter. I ask them if they saw my latest application and they said no...suspicious. Apparently the last 2 recruiters were let go.
At any rate this 3rd recruiter sets me up with the full day of interviews. I do the full day thing (4 interviews with different people). I thought they went pretty well...
I've been ghosted ever since. The 3rd recruiter won't answer emails and I have given up. If you don't think I'm a good fit, then just tell me! I have better things to do than chase a job for 3+ months.
