The position and the hiring manager are not very in sync since the role is reserved for an individual with a management consulting background, a master's degree, and strong SQL skills. However, the hiring manager does not have a management consulting background, a master's degree, or strong SQL skills. Thus, the hiring manager is essentially a project manager, so individuals seeking a learning environment/mentoring/coaching would be best looking elsewhere (hiring manager's words, not mine).
