Gitlab reached out to me. I chatted with the recruiter, then the hiring manager + a couple of other directs. Overall everyone was very pleasant and some good discussions and dialogue. They did not do a good job of keeping me in the loop on status, a significant lag between interviews and I had to reach out twice to get an update on where things were after the final interview - took 1 week+ to get an answer.
