Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Glamnetic em jun. de 2024
Entrevista
I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this was such a disappointing experience.
The process:
I got all the way through their interview process that took about 2 months, throughout the process their expected timeline for next steps changed a few times and I figured it was because of different shifts internally. There were 2 interviews, one with HR, the other with the Sr. Designer, and then a test project. During the first interview I was told that next steps would be 2-3 additional interviews with the test project, I thought it was interesting that it changed but I didn't mind at all. There were about 2 weeks in between hearing about each step. I loved my conversations and enjoyed the test project. During my second interview they let me know that they would have a decision made a week after I submit my test project. The following week I get an email from their HR agency, asking how my conversation went and wanting to know my salary expectations with their last sentence being, "Please make sure to send me your range as soon as you are able." I was sure they were about to be preparing a job offer but I never heard from them again. Everything was going so well and felt very aligned so I find it interesting they decided to go ghost. I would like to note that during the first interview I asked what the salary range was for the position and they told me "up to $55k" so I stuck within a 50-55k range. I'm guessing they might've changed their minds on what they wanted to pay and was hoping I'd say lower then what they told me.
My thoughts after:
I believe it is extremely disrespectful for any company to ghost a candidate, especially after being in contact with them for two months. It would've been disappointing to get a rejection but 10x better then being ghosted. They use a separate agency for HR who reach out to candidates, during the process they didn't respond to a single one of my emails only sent new ones, the Sr. Designer would respond (until the end of the process when they all ghosted) and was very sweet so I'm not sure if it's the HR agency's idea to ghost people but I don't think they have a good interview process regardless and it's not a good look for the agency or Glamnetic.
