Entrevista
(A third-party) Recruiter reached out and explained the role and company. I was initially reluctant regarding the company but wanted to interview since the opportunity was really good.
After 2 phone screens with recruiters, had a video interview with a Lead Engineer. Everything went well and I was scheduled to appear for a virtual onsite on the condition that I complete a take home assessment.
I had six interviews in one day with the final one being a presentation of my assessment. There was little to no technical questions in almost all of the rounds. Since it is a small company, the expectation was to have several daily interactions with a lot of non-technical folks which was somewhat off-putting.
After a week, received a reject call from the recruiter. The reason: they were looking for someone with more experience. If they had rejected me earlier on, it would've saved me and the company plenty of time.
The recruiters I interacted with were amazing and I enjoyed every conversation with them. However, there was clear communication delay (as they weren't from Glo) which made was the overall experience frustrating for me as a candidate.

Yoga Company, Not Yogic
I spent over 6 weeks interviewing with "Glo" between July and August of 2017 for an iOS engineering position I am posting this a couple of years later because they were not on Glassdoor when I interviewed.
I personally feel that this company violated my rights to employment by giving me an ultimatum at the end of my interview process that I had to shut down my website and take my iOS application off of the app store in exchange for employment.
It was only after two phone interviews, three onsite visits, and two different coding challenges that this barrier to employment was raised despite my resume being completely transparent that I ran multiple websites and had an app on the app store...as many software engineers have. This was all after being told multiple times by the CTO that I was going to get an offer after the first onsite interview!
Stay away...

I was asked to create an iOS application that displayed yoga classes and allowed a user to click into any class to see details. There was a starter project with json files to use instead of setting up networking.
The second coding project was a Node project in which they wanted me to use Waterline to create apis for their backend.
