I applied for a role and was contacted quickly to participate in a phone interview. The phone interview seemed to go well. Then, it was requested that I send an email to the interviewer explaining how I would successfully contribute to the role. I spent some time writing this and sent what I thought to be a fairly good case. Then came the crickets. As a professional services company, I would have hoped for a more professional rejection. I can handle being rejected but spending that much of my time and then being completely ignored was a bit disrespectful in my opinion. On the upside, everyone I interacted with was very friendly.
