Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Global Fleet Management.

Initial HR call -> Take home test, the initial interview was great, the HR assured me that I would receive feedback from the tech team even if my solution were not accepted. Unfortunately, after submitting the test solution, I never heard back from HR, I sent a follow-up email to at least get feedback on my solution, but I didn't get any response. This is a terrible and badly run company. I should have taken the previous reviews seriously, it was a total waste of time.

1) HR call 2) fairly simple API to implement as a take home task 3) on-site interview in Burnaby. nice guys. surprisingly didn't discuss the task, instead they'll ask you about everything between coding style to schema design and system architecture (somewhat weird, as they pay under market rate). one of the interviewers seemed to like lecturing and going on side tangents. It was overall an interesting experience, nothing too challenging, but I got the feeling they aren't entirely sure on what they're looking for. for example, they seemed very interested in my understanding of certain cloud technologies (somewhat out of scope for the role), but were confused by mundane points I raised like SOLID not being fully applicable to a dynamic language like ruby. It was really hard getting a response from them in a timely manner after that, as I was pressed on time due to a different process. In the end it was not relevant due to a better offer in a different country
