I had a very positive first call with the recruiter, which was well-structured and STAR-oriented. However, when it came to the second stage with the Hiring Manager, I experienced some difficulties. The initial video platform crashed and prevented me from joining. While the interview was rescheduled, I only received the new Google Meet link one day before the call, after having to follow up multiple times. Unfortunately, the Hiring Manager did not join the rescheduled meeting, and despite my attempts to contact the recruiter (including sharing a screenshot of the issue), I never received any further communication. Additionally, the role was repeatedly described as “not a 9-to-5 job,” which, combined with the salary offered (around €30k), gave me concerns about workload and compensation balance.
