I was contacted by the CEO (Justin) to interview for his growth marketing manager position and it was a huge waste of my valuable time. The first interview was a video call with the CEO Justin. He claimed it was a great interview and he wanted to move me to the next stage with a take home project, due in 1 week. The project entailed a presentation with quite a few requests despite the small time window: Optimizing a specific landing page on their site based on a real service call. Creating a wireframe or mock-up of the landing page. Analyzing a mock data set and creating a growth funnel. Outlining strategies to grow their leads. All of this essentially outined a growth marketing strategy with samples for them to use. After getting a great reception from the CEO for my project, I was approved for a last round of interviews with his performance marketing lead and another junior growth marketer. It took over 3 weeks to get this interview scheduled. The junior growth marketer gave very basic and general interview questions. The performance marketing lead also did, and wanted to dive more into exactly how I would fix their Organic lead growth. I kept my answers relatively general since those are details that should be disclosed after being hired for a job, not during the interview. Since neither person referred to my project even one time, it was clear that they DID NOT even take the time to review my project. It was also apparent that neither person took time to review my resume and experience before the interview to prepare detailed questions besides the boilerplate interview questions. Ultimately, after the project and multiple interviews, they ghosted me. I never got a response after my followup thank you email and they never reached out to even tell me their decision for the role. This was a total waste of time, and even though the CEO was nice, I think this was a way for them to source ideas to grow the company without hiring. I'm very disappointed.

Complete waste of Time between projects interviews and the waiting around to only be ghosted for over a month after it took months to even have my existence acknowledge. You wont hear back
