The interview process was a reasonable time (approximately 1.5 months), however I did a lot of work. I had 4 interviews - recruiter, hiring manager, marketing team, CEO - and I also did a case study that took a couple of hours to complete. I really liked talking to the team and the CEO (Justin), and I actually ended up getting a job offer! They offered me $70k, which I thought was a lowball, as I have a background in marketing to the same demographic. I counter offered with about 10-20% more and 3 days later...THEY RESCINDED THE OFFER! They emailed me 1 sentence with no explanation. I was genuinely shocked and confused that they didn’t even attempt to negotiate—especially since the CEO said I nailed the case study and we had a great hour long conversation. He also seemed very impressed with my skills! Anyways, I hopped on a call with the recruiter for further clarification and her first sentence was, "So...what do you want to discuss?" I asked for clarification on the decision and it was a load of BS. She said my start date didn't align with theirs (it would've been 2 weeks later since I had a trip planned to Europe) and that I should've been more forthcoming about my start date (it's never been an issue with my past job offers). After doing some research and reading others’ experiences - trust me, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! It seems like that's the culture at GoGo - low salaries and a lot of work. The company isn't even worth that much according to Google ($35 mil), so I doubt I would get any raises if I did accept the offer. The interview process was a lot of work and very unprofessional. I would suggest taking your skills and talents to a company that respects their employees!!!!!!
