They described the position and job duties to me and asked me about myself and what I look for in a job. Seems like a great company to work for.

The hiring process was really simple, a quick google call meeting with the line manager and owner. They asked a few questions but more of a free talk about myself and my sales experience nothing strenuous. Then a face to face meeting in Croydon offices. I drove three hours to get there and was really keen to meet the team. Spent half a day in the offices meeting everyone. Originally the job was only for euroresins and then added on the day was Perkins toys. Which sort of summed up the business its managed a-bit manic like. As the owner / director of their non corporate company decisions are made on an emotional opinion so can change very quickly. (Some may see this as a positive, i see this as disorganised chaos) I was offered the job which was advertised as remote / work from home which quickly changed to be based on offices an hour away from my home. I initially accepted and thought well fuel costs are reclaimable. Originally discussed i have children and i was looking to be based from home to do the school drop offs 830/9am then i could be on the road. Which they were happy with as you plan your own diary i was told as-long as you get the business in. After i signed the contracts it Quickly changed to me needing to be at the offices an hour away from at 9am and work from those offices. Do meetings via teams etc not as originally discussed. I later declined the job and withdrew for these reasons for them never to contact or follow up. Be careful when you join as what is originally offered isn’t what the job ended up being for me and luckily i was able to stay at the job i was in as i realised in time it was quickly turning into a job i hadn’t applied for.
