Slower than a sloth. It took them over three months to schedule just four rounds. The first technical round involved working on their existing codebase, but the interviewer wasn’t even familiar with it. I ended up chasing a non-existent bug because their notes were outdated.
The second round was a high-level design (HLD) round, and surprisingly, it was the best one, interviewers were genuinely interested and engaged.
The final round was supposed to be a bar-raiser, but it was conducted by an engineering manager (why?). The interviewer struggled to understand what I was saying, and I had to rephrase nearly every sentence.
Despite mostly positive or borderline feedback in all rounds, I was still rejected. In hindsight, I should have listened to my friends who had worked here and warned me not to waste my time interviewing.
