I was initially contacted by a recruiter from the agency to interview for a Client Services Manager position. Over the course of several weeks, I completed three rounds of remote interviews. Despite my continued engagement, I had to follow up multiple times with their talent team before the final interview was finally scheduled. That last round took place in person at their office, where I met with the COO—who spent most of the time talking about himself rather than discussing the role or team.
A few days later, I was informed that they had decided not to move forward with hiring for the position at all. It’s disappointing to see a company initiate such a time-intensive process—especially after reaching out to me—only to ultimately abandon the role. It reflects a lack of respect for candidates’ time and effort. If there’s uncertainty about filling a role, companies should be more transparent from the beginning rather than putting people through multiple interviews and in-person meetings unnecessarily.

Very organized process of setting up interviews. The interviews themselves were each an hour long, half of which, some of the interviewers mostly talked about themselves. Then asked me a few questions. Eventually, I was ghosted.
