I responded to an ad on craigslist. They responded very quickly via email and telephone. They asked if I was willing to start immediately in a matter of days time, since I met the CDL experience requirements, and all the oilfield certifications needed for the job. I agreed and traveled to do a driving skills test and an alcohol & drug test afterwards. I got hired a lot quicker than I expected, which I was grateful for, because I needed a job, fast. They just didn't issue me any of the basic things needed for the job such as, FR's, H2S monitor, gloves, hard hat, safety glasses. Good thing I had my own stuff, otherwise I would have not been able to start right away (2 days after my road and drug test).
