Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Gold Standard Promotions.
Entrevista
A company that is VERY vague about what they do. When I had the first interview, the manager or whoever told me that I would be advertising a product to customers (which I should have seen as a red flag, but I imagined it more like a trade show or even a convention)... But yeah, the first interview is short and vague, and if they like you, they'll usually call you back for the next day to train/interview for the field. It is then that you have to follow the person who's training you out to a gas station to sell an unheard of car cleaning products to customers who just want to buy gas. Not only that, but I feel like we were half lying to the customers saying that we were "with the cancer research foundation" or something like that. (The cans of cleaning spray had like a pink ribbon for breast cancer, and we were claiming we were part of that group, which isn't true.) We might be working for them or with them, but we are not them. aIso, this whole "outdoors at a random gas station" thing seems really off to me. If the company already has an "established clientele", then why am I even going to random gas stations hassling people to buy stuff they could buy at Walmart for a lot cheaper?

A small office in Burbank, CA with a receptionist and a few "managers" doing the interviewing. I should have known this was a scam from the start because I couldn't find a website for the company (look for Gold Standard Promotions) and when they call me they didn't leave a VM. When you interview you realize they don't hire event staff, they're looking for people to stand outside gas stations and sell an automotive product for commission only. It's a pyramid or MLM scheme where the end result is you open up your own office and try to get people to sell this product for you at other gas stations. The 2nd "interview" is an all day training day where you stand w another salesperson outside a gas station and try to get customers to buy the product. Part 3 is where they bring you back to the office to decide if you want to work there.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This company also practices under Empire State Solutions. Same office, same people. Google "gold standard promotions" and you'll see their fraud reports and bad reviews everywhere.

3 step interview process. Manager explains everything about the company, the clients and the entrepreneur opportunity, which is the end goal. Then I interviewed with an employee who would be my mentor to teach me the basics, I met her out in the field at one of the events and saw how it all comes together. Was then sent back to the office to ask any remaining questions and set my start date.

Do you think you can work through the 6-9 month training program and become owner of one of the branches - anywhere in the USA?
