The process needs to be more transparent. During the interview I would ask questions regarding pay and day to day operations. I was told that information would be given during the next interview. Then the details of the position should be clarified from the beginning.

Rate yourself in work ethic, willingness to learn, and leadership, from 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. But you can not repeat a score.

First of all, no company should ever hold a group interview. It’s extremely degrading to the applicants and there are far better ways to vet potential hires. The first interview is a group interview which by now is obvious, you’re only allowed to introduce yourself but you’re not allowed to ask any questions. How is that fair at all? If you pass that interview, you get a call to come to an interview in person. In person, the questions are “where do you see yourself in 5 years” and “tell me about your hobbies”. Nothing really of substance and kind of felt like a bs interview because it lacked seriousness. Then they’ll hire you on the spot if you basically fit into all of their criteria. I get the sense that they’re desperate for employees which is always a red flag when it comes to a company but that’s basically it. Don’t even bother if you’re somewhat older with a good amount of experience under your belt. They want someone who’s young and naive to work for them, they usually go after fresh out of college kids who are desperate for an office job and want to start making money. No one was mean though this company is really just a pyramid scheme.

I called in exactly on time, and to my surprise it was an unannounced group interview. Five other people were in the call with me. We weren't allowed to ask any questions at all, and were told that any questions would only be answered 1-on-1 later.
The Event Coordinator job didn't actually exist as it was described. The pay was also less than minimum wage, required us to drive our own vehicles everywhere and go door to door for donations. When I asked a very simple question about why our earnings would be less than minimum wage and highly dependent on commissions, which would have taken only a few seconds to reply to, the interviewer only repeated the same sentence several times times that she wouldn't answer questions right now or at the end of the interview. So instead of taking ten seconds to tell us it's not actually less than minimum wage, she wasted more time announcing she wouldn't answer any questions. It's an MLM scam.
