Got a call in the middle of February from a staffing agency for .NET developer openings with Goldman Sachs, Bangalore. They scheduled my telephonic interview for the next week. The telephonic interview went well and I got a call direct from GSs' HR person some 10 days later and they asked me to visit their Bangalore office for further rounds. I agreed to visit the next week. I had 3 technical rounds on the same day and was told they were fine with me and would call me within the next few days. The next day got a call again and they scheduled another round with the Director of the team I'd be joining, this also went fine and he said HR would call me next day. Then got a call two days later asking for send my payslips, etc. Again after a week got a call asking me to send further documents. HR person said it would take 2 weeks to roll out the offer. After 5 weeks they finally rolled out and offer. I had joined another company by then and also the compensation was less that what I had hoped.

I had applied with a referral and was contacted shortly for a coderpad interview. It was 1 hour and 2 questions mainly based on hashmap and stack. I passed the interview and moved onto the recruiter call, However it was all silent after the call and later got a rejection with no feedback. Later confirmed with my referrer that they did not have budget to hire anyone so could not move forward with the Superday process
