Entrevista
Very organized and highly personalized interview process. Eric was amazing through out the entire interview process and kept me updated as much as possible. In each interview, each person seemed to care about my answers (something that seems so simple but is noticeable compared to interviews where managers just want to check boxes). Each person who interviewed me was amazing and had very thoughtful answers to my questions.
Before any interview with Gong: Be as prepared as POSSIBLE. While yes, the interview process is well organized and highly personalized, it is also difficult. You are expected to know all operating principles, be up to date on all content (check out Chris Orlob and Devin Reed LIs) and have a very good understanding of what Gong does and what problem(s) it solves. Come prepared with unique questions that are highly personalized to your interviewer (always check them out on LI before hand).
Overall, loved how challenging and rewarding this interview process was!! Big S/O to Eric Lindroos and how amazing he made this process!!

very straightforward and pretty easy to follow. They give you a lot of content on what they are looking for and how you can do well in the interview by studying up on the content they provide.

Entrevista
Phone call screen with recruiter, basic questions around experience, what you are looking for.
Then you have 3 30 minute interviews with various SDR managers asking more behavioral type questions and one of them also being a cold call role play.
At the end of the day do not apply unless you have previous SaaS experience even if you have a previous sales background. Managers can tell you they have no reservations about you being hired to the team, do a great job on the cold call role play (even being told I can tell you were very prepared and coachable). You will not get the job and waste your time.
Overall experience was positive, if you don't want people without a SaaS background this should be screened before interviews start.

Entrevista
The interview process was one of the most intense I’ve gone through but also the most rewarding. Everyone is so kind and helpful and if you put the effort in to really learn the company and be able to showcase that, the interviews become fun and not as nerve racking. They send you a lot of information before each interview and really prepare you for it. Make sure to ask really good questions in each interview - above the surface level kind of questions.
From phone screen to offer the interview process took about a week and a half.
I had 5 interviews total:
-phone screen with recruiter
-3 interviews with different managers and a mock in one of those sessions as well (you get two chances to do the mock - they aren’t looking for perfection, they’re looking for a foundation to build on - that you’re coachable)
-1 interview with the director of sales development and then they check your references
It’s a quick process! Gong is a great company to work for and their interview process shows that.
