Was reached out to by recruiter for a video call. The recruiter was great, extremely passionate about the mission and left me very excited about the position and team. Received an email the next day to schedule an interview with the CTO. Things turned extremely in that interview. By far one of the worst interview experiences I’ve ever had. The guy couldn’t even bother to introduce himself, seemed completely uninterested and the interview basically consisted of me walking through projects with no feedback. He seemed to have no passion for the company mission and it’s no surprise he appears to be gone from the company now, but it really sucks because I was truly passionate about what this company is doing.
