Google Cloud vs AWS

AWS is very comprehensive in the number of applications they offer through AWS. Not just only IaaS resources like databases, servers, directory services, desktops, etc, but actual applications and tools (PaaS and SaaS) for media streaming, analytics, etc. GCP has fewer products, but they are very focused on IaaS and PaaS. Google is very strong in Big Data, the ability to analyze massive amounts of data in very short time. Also has a Pay-Per-Use model charging by the minute, which could be very convenient, and will also scale instantly based on demand spikes. AWS doesn't do that.
